Zinc (2013, San Francisco, $31.5M) – Provides an interface to facilitate communication between workforce which includes onsite and offshore workforce. Provides features secure message interface, broadcast support, media sharing which include audio and video, file & location sharing, report generation and analytics solution and others. UpSkill (formerly APX Labs) (2010, Herndon, $29M) – Provides software platform Skylight SDK that companies use to create smart glasses applications.Used to sell optical wearable technologies to the military for applications ranging from connecting soldiers to unmanned aerial vehicles for medics in the field; before it focused on industrial applications. Backed by Salesforce, GE Ventures, NextGen Angels.
